The easiest way to overcome this temptation is to have a set rule of no phones in bed.

  • Develop a sleep schedule: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night and stick to a consistent sleep-wake schedule, even on weekends (Hint: ensuring you get adequate sleep will be made even easier if you follow the 'no phones in bed' rule).
